2. What data we collect
- Information you give us: if you contact us by email or via the contact form on this site (which opens your own email program to send us a message), we receive your name, email address, and anything you choose to include in your message.
- Technical/log data: our hosting provider automatically records standard server log information — such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested — for security and to keep the site running.
We use Google Analytics to collect anonymised traffic data (pages visited, session duration, approximate location by country). We do not use advertising or retargeting tracking, and we do not build personal profiles of visitors.
3. Why we use your data and our legal basis
- To respond to your enquiry and provide the service or quote you requested — legal basis: steps taken at your request / our legitimate interest in answering you.
- To operate and secure the website — legal basis: our legitimate interest in a safe, functioning site.
- To meet legal obligations (e.g. administration and tax) where applicable.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with trusted providers who help us operate, acting as our processors — in particular our hosting and email provider TransIP B.V. (Netherlands, EU) and Google LLC (Google Analytics; data may be processed in the US under Google's data processing terms — see Google's Privacy Policy).
5. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and correspondence data only as long as needed to handle your request and our business relationship, and to meet legal retention obligations. Server logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these, email youri@ydjmedia.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
7. Cookies
This site uses functional cookies, local storage, and Google Analytics cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with its revision date.
